Most of the shots were taken with a meade 7 inch maksutov cassegrain,focal lenght 2670, at both F15 prime focus,and F30 using a celestron 2x apo barlow
Hope you enjoy the beginings of my lunar work, its early days for me, I have'nt been shooting the moon very long. I hope to do much better in the months to come. Most shots were taken with my Meade maksutov cassegrain, LX50 A few at the bottom were taken with my 16 inch dobsonian using the drift method, Not as good as my 7 inch maksutov, but were a real challenge to get, so interesting none the less. I hope this site proves quality shots can be got, even in the most dreadful of locations, with factory chimnys polluting my skies, and two streetlights, just feet from were i have to film, Its almost like daylight in my observing site, with the two streetlights glaring on my Maksutov corrector, Ive had many problems on the way, and many more still to solve, but as i said at that start of this message, This is only the begining for me, I can't wait to improve, because surely thats part of the challenge, Neil phillips.
